Giving AI agents a door: our MCP server
Written up in November 2026 from our engineering log · 2 min read
On 1 August the MCP server went live. An assistant could now list your sites, read an audit and start a scan, without anyone copying text between windows.
Why an MCP server
The Model Context Protocol is how assistants like Claude discover and call tools. Instead of building one integration per assistant, we exposed one server at a stable URL and described each tool well enough for a model to choose it.
A price that cannot drift
Every tool that costs something says what it costs. Those numbers are not written into the tool descriptions by hand: they are computed from the same rate card the billing system charges from. A copied price does not fail loudly; it drifts, and then an assistant quotes a rate we no longer charge. Deriving it is the only way to keep the two equal.
